Smartfil TPU Flexible 93A in vibrant Lime Green (Caribbean) is the ideal filament for printing soft, durable and impact-resistant 3D parts. Developed by Smart Materials 3D, this filament is made from high-quality polyurethane (TPU) with a Shore A hardness of 93, making it compatible with nearly all FDM 3D printers — including those with direct and some Bowden extruders.

With exceptional flexibility and mechanical properties, it's perfect for printing footwear soles, RC bumpers, car parts, and ergonomic grips. It’s also highly resistant to hydrolysis and oxidation, ensuring excellent long-term performance.

IMPORTANT PRINTING TIPS

  1. Maintain consistent material flow: Adjust your slicer settings gradually to prevent under-extrusion or clogging. Use adhesive spray for bed adhesion.
  2. Optimize printing temperature: Start at 225 °C and fine-tune according to your printer’s behavior. Higher temperatures help flow, but excessive heat may cause surface artifacts.
  3. Slow down your print: TPU requires slow, controlled extrusion. 35 mm/s is a reliable speed for quality prints.
  4. Disable retraction on Bowden-style printers if possible, as flexible filaments tend to jam in retraction cycles.
